My new house
I sleep behind my desk since I moved in with my mom after being raped. I like it because I feel safe in this small space surrounded by the beauty of a quilt Brenda made, I lay on a Thai mattress and I'm covered by a by a quilt my mom made me. It has a patch that says, I love you.".I squeeze that corner every night and say in my head, "my mom loves me." And the acrylic paintings are ones I made.in my last house where I haven't finished moving out of because I'll probably be moving again in the next year. This is where I spend most of my time now, just like my dad did. I'm trying to heal but am still infuriated he died on me.

It's the weee hours of the night and I'm as usual drawing for my own well being, but I do sell prints of these.
